Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is someone who doesn't settle for anything ordinary. He wants everything to be on a larger scale and at the very best as well. Look at the way Pragathi Bhavan, which is his camp office-cum-residence, was constructed citing Vaastu defect.
Since he became a CM, KCR kept expressing his displeasure over the old Secretariat. Initially, He thought of constructing the Secretariat and Assembly in the premises of Erragadda Hospital. However, Civil Aviation Ministry disapproved this proposal.
And now, KCR decided to construct new Secretariat, Assembly, HoD Offices at Bison Polo Grounds. In addition, Arrangements will be done here for holding parades for January 26th and August 15th. KCR offered to give 596 acres of land to Centre in exchange of Bison Polo Grounds spread across 38 acres. In addition, He got ready to pay Rs 95 crore for the Union Government.
