KCR personally takes over Nagarjunasagar bypoll management

Now it is increasingly becoming clear that KCR himself will manage he Nagarjunasagar byelections. Fresh from the victories in the Graduate MLC elections, KCR now wants to ensure a TRS victory at any cost. He feels that handing over the responsibility to KTR and others has proved costly in both Dubbak and the GHMC. In both these elections, the BJP had defeated the TRS.
KCR is said to be micro-managing things in Nagarjunasagar already. He has decided that the TRS candidate would be from the Yadava community, which has a big presence in the constituency. In fact, Nomula Narsimhaiah, who had defeated Jana Reddy in 2018 assembly elections, was a yadava. Now, the party wants to go ahead with someone from the same community. Also, to placate the sullen government employees, KCR has announced a pay hike with 29 per cent fitment. His decision to hike the retirement age too will benefit the party in a big way. KCR is said to be talking to local leaders personally and is encouraging them to become active in party campaign. Sources say that he is holding tele conferences on a regular basis with the leaders from Nagarjunasagar.
