KCR Gets Active Again On Federal Front
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 April 2019 8:04 AM GMTKCR's hopes of carving out a Federal Front are sprouting once again. KCR had tried for a Federal Front of non-Congress and non-BJP parties to play a ring master's role at the Centre. But, they came to a naught as every regional party has its own agenda to pursue and its own interest to further. He had even tried to meet Mamta Didi and Navin Patnaik dada but without much success.
But, now out of the blue, Mamta Banerjee has begun talking about a possible Federal Front and has said that the Front will decided who would become India's next prime minister. Though there is nothing in common among the non-BJP parties, they seem to be inching closer to the Congress to form a coalition government and to prevent the BJP from coming to power. The Congress too expecting that the non-BJP parties will join hands with it to make Rahul Gandhi the PM of the country.
At this juncture, Mamta Didi has brought to the fore the talk of Federal Front. Her idea is that she should become the Prime Minister with the Federal Front partners and the Congress extending outside support. This has stirred up Chandrasekhara Rao. He may not try to become PM, but will definitely try to emerge as a ring master with the whip in hand. He is said to be planning to go around the country and meet various leaders in the coming days. His shifting to Delhi is important for KCR as this will enable him to make his son KTR chief minister in AP. Let's see how leaders of other regional parties behave.
