KCR shows back to T-Martyrs

K Srikanth Chary is the first person to sacrifice his life for Telangana in the second phase of movement which began in December 2009. Political parties promised to help the family by providing financial assistance, government job and fielding one of the family members in Assembly polls.

Srikanth Chary's Mother Shakaramma decided to contest on TRS ticket and this is the party which led the Telangana movement and she choose Palakurthi Assembly segment in Warangal as that is her native place. However, KCR has different plans for her and she was named as TRS candidate in Huzurnagar Assembly segment in Nalgonda district.

TRS is receiving brickbats for its decision as the party is weak in Huzurnagar and Shakaramma might get defeated. TPCC working President Uttamkumar Reddy is the sitting MLA in this constituency and Congress is unstoppable here.
