KCR's U-Turn, Supports No Trust Motion!
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 March 2018 5:14 PM GMTTelangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao took a crucial decision which will be appreciated by the Telugu People across the World. He decided to end the criticism over the stand taken by TRS on the No Confidence Motion moved by Ruling and Opposition Parties in AP.
On Monday, KCR issued a clear direction to party MPs on the manner in which they should conduct themselves in the ongoing Parliament Session. He directed TRS MPs not to take any steps which dilutes the seriousness of the No Trust Motion moved by AP against NDA Government for Special Status.
Post the meeting, MPs K Kesava Rao, Jithendar Reddy & Kavitha addressed the media: 'Allegations that we are obstructing the No Confidence Motion are untrue. We are protesting in Lok Sabha for reservations even before TDP-YCP moved the motion. We are ready to cooperate if a debate happens on No Confidence Motion in Lok Sabha. We always want the Two Telugu States to have a bright future. We have extended support to AP's rights on many occasions'.
TRS MPs claimed they are fighting with Centre to ensure powers are transferred to states on reservations. They stressed, 'There is need for reservations based on population ratio. We demand inclusion of it in the 9th Schedule of Constitution. Already, CM KCR spoke to Prime Minister about it but Centre isn't caring even after we launched agitation in Lok Sabha'.
