Congress Loan Waiver! How KCR Reacted?

KCR led the Telangana Movement for 13 Years despite facing many insults and succeeded in fulfilling the dream of four crore people. He managed to form the government in 2014 with many lucrative promises including Farm Loan Waiver up to Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1,000 Pension for senior citizens.
Inspite of claims that Telangana is the richest state, TRS Government implemented Farm Loan Waiver with utmost difficulty in four phases during a span of four years. Whether the Farmers were completely satisfied with it or not is a million dollar question.
Now, Congress Party is trying to gain upper hand over TRS using the same promises. Few days ago, PCC Vice President Ponnam Prabhakar announced Farm Loan Waiver up to Rs 2 lakh and Increase of Pension to Rs 2,000 if Congress forms government after 2019 Elections.
Actually, KCR had the feeling that TRS can retain power even without promising Farm Loan Waiver in 2019 Polls. He, however, is in no mood to take any risk after Congress gave an assurance to the people. So, The TRS Chief decided to announce farm loan waiver again but limited the amount to Rs 1 lakh itself.
