Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao offered his consent to the Jamili Elections proposed by PM Narendra Modi. A Letter written by Chief Minister favouring simultaneous Assembly and Lok Sabha Polls has been submitted to the Law Commission by TRS Leaders.

TRS MP Vinod Kumar: 'Debate on Jamili Elections have been happening since 1986. Modi isn't the first leader to propose it. Our decision isn't in favour of either NDA Government or someone else. Law Commission has been seeking opinions on Election Reforms since long time. TRS is in favour of Jamili Elections from 2019. Jamili doesn't mean Early Polls, it's just conducting Assembly and Lok Sabha Polls Simultaneously'.

Even Samajwadi Party informed about it's willingness for Jamili Elections in 2019. At the same time, UP's Main Opposition conveyed it won't accept if Jamili Elections were planned after 2019.

On the other hand, DMK Chief MK Stalin opined conducting Assembly and Lok Sabha Polls simultaneously is a misadventure. He expressed the view that any such practice won't yield desired results.
