KCR Wants It To Be Weak, Jagan Wants It Strong

Both KCR and YS Jagan seem to be great friends and have struck a very positive relationship. But, they appear to have different views about the BJP. While KCR wants to go ballistic on the BJP, YS Jagan wants to have friendly relations. These two CMs recently met at Hyderabad to discuss varios issues. While Jagan wanted to go soft on the BJP, KCR was in a fighting mood.
On the last day of the assembly, KCR warned both Narendra Modi and Amit Shah saying that their comments that the UPA had killed the mother to save the child while granting statehood were wrong. He even decried Shah's statement that the day Telangana was carved out was a black day. He said such remarks were not welcome.
While a stronger BJP is to Jagan's advantage in AP, KCR wants a weaker BJP in Telangana. If the BJP grows stronger in AP, the TDP would be weakened. This will enable Jagan come back to power quite easily. But in Telangana, a stronger BJP would be a threat to the TRS. The BJP is emerging as an alternative to the TRS in Telangana. Jagan does not want any confrontation because of the state's financial crisis and also due to its dependence on the centre for support. KCR too cannot completely ignore the Centre.
