KCR - Why 16? Why Not Round Figure??

Telangana CM KCR had assumed that the welfare & development programmes taken up by TRS in the past four-and-a-half years would fetch him victory. Formation of Mahakutami & Lucrative Poll Promises announced by Congress began influencing the public. In addition, TRS Candidates had no clue what they should assure to the people while seeking votes. All these factors prompted KCR to announce a bunch of manifesto promises.
TRS heckled the Unemployment Allowance announced by Congress until recently. All of a sudden, Even the Ruling Party came forward to offer Rs 3,016 per month for Unemployed as allowance. In addition, Senior Citizens and Disabled would be provided monthly pension of Rs 2,016 and Rs 3,016 respectively.
One thing common about the promises made by Telangana CM KCR during the press meet to announce TRS Manifesto is preferring '16' instead of a round figure. Netizens have been creating many jokes on the prominence of '16' in the TRS Manifesto. Some say, It's the GST which KCR has been paying people at the time of elections.
