In the recently announced nominated posts in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy made sure that those who have worked hard for the party will be given posts.
Byreddy Siddhartha Reddy was made the Chairman of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP). The body that focuses on promoting sports in the state.
CM Jagan's decision is being lauded by one and all as he kept his promise made to Byreddy Siddhartha Reddy. During his Padayatra, Jagan promised to give a plum post to him.
He still remembered the word, he gave to the young leader and made him the SAAP chairman.
Byreddy Siddhartha Reddy has been actively working for the YSRCP. Known as a firebrand leader, Siddhartha had managed to counter the followers of BJP leader Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy, his uncle in the recent local body polls.
Siddhartha played a crucial role in Nandikotkuru MLA Arthur's win in the 2019 general elections by campaigning vigorously for him.
He was also successful in making the opposition Telugu Desam Party(TDP) weaker in Nandikotkur. TDP used to have a good hold in the constituency. But Byreddy Siddhartha Reddy was successful in diluting the yellow party in the region.
With appointing people like Byreddy Siddhartha Reddy in the plum post, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has sent a message to the party cadre and leaders that working for the party will get due credit from him.
