Kejriwal invites Naidu for swearing-in ceremony

Arvind Kejriwal is a busy man and a day after leading his party to a landslide victory in Delhi Assembly polls, the Delhi chief ministerial candidate on Wednesday met Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu. The chief minister designate along with his colleague Manish Sisodia met Venkaiah Naidu and discussed various issues with him including that of statehood, infrasturcture and unauthorized colonies.

The duo have reportedly discussed on granting full statehood to the National Capital, one of AAP's poll promises. Apart from that they also discussed about granting land from Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for building schools, parking and play grounds. Regularizing unauthorized colonies also took part in their discussion.

The Union Minister congratulated Kejriwal and Sisodia on their victory. Kejriwal also extended an invitation to Naidu for the swearing-in ceremony on February 14 at Ramlila Maidan.Meanwhile Kejriwal is slated to meet President Pranab Mukherjee and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on the evening.
