A Photo with Actor lands Lady Cop in trouble

Merin Joseph, Assistant Commissioner of Police in Kerala, invited trouble by uploading a photo of herself with Actor Nivin Pauly on her Facebook page.
Both Merin Joseph and Nivin Pauly attended an event in a college in Ernakulam as guests. Sharing the pic, The cop wrote: "With Nivin Pauly...The current sensation in Kerala".
Soon after the picture was shared on Facebook, It received thousands of likes but Merin Joseph's happiness didn't last for long. Media criticized Merin for violation of protocol saying she shared the picture shot when she was in uniform.
Merin Joseph shot back at media: "Non-issues are being sensationalised. I was a guest and had no official duties. The media channels which pander to such cheapness and voyeurism, have my pity".
