Srikanth repeats the feat of Deepika's Dad

Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth created history. He bagged the Denmark Open Superseries title by beating Korea's Lee Hyun in two straight sets (21-10, 21-5) in the finals.
This title will always be very close to the heart of Telugu's Pride. Why because, He is only the second Indian to bag this prestigious title.
It was in 1980, Prakash Padukone (Father of Deepika Padukone) won Denmark Open Superseries title for the first time. After 37 Years, Kidambi Srikanth repeated the same feat.
The Year 2017 has been great for Kidambi Srikanth. He already won Australian Open and Indonesian Open. Even ended as Runner-up in the Singapore Open. He is also the second Indian Shuttler after Saina Nehwal to win three Super Series titles. Gopichand Academy has produced yet another champion player after Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu. Kudos to the Great Coach!
