North Korea president Kim Jong Un often made statements that they are trying match America in terms of military power and they are ready to attack the US. Kim was determined to complete their nuclear programme even though international community was imposing sanctions on them. He has also declared that they are successful in becoming a nuclear power despite sanctions. But Kim is changing his approach in the recent past. He is talking about negotiations and peace. Meanwhile, there are reports that Kim has taken a sensational decision to stop the nuclear programme.
South Korea president Moon Jae In revealed that Kim told him that they are planning to close the nuclear testing center in the next month. He said that Kim will announce his decision in the presence of American nuclear specialists, South Korea representatives and journalists.
Analysts say that Kim's lifestyle is different. He became North Korean president in 2011 at the age of 30. North Korea is a closed country to the world. They have the fourth largest military in the world and a nuclear power. Kim always says that their target is matching the USA.
Kim is fond of Basketball and he is a fan of legendary Basketball player Micheal Jordan. When he was studying in Switzerland, his room was full of Michael Jordan posters. Though Kim is just 5 feet 6 inch tall, he plays basketball well. His friends say that he is very competitive and he tries to win always. When his father Kim Jon Il was on deathbed Kim was coronated as the president even though he doesn't have any experience. North Koreans believe that Kim is just like his grandfather and great North Korean leader Kim Il Sung. Even his features are similar to his grandfather. Critics say that he went for some plastic surgeries to look like his grandfather. But Kim's supporters say that they are just rumours. Kim never went on foreign tours until recently. He cut off relations with South Korea in the past but now he is trying to improve the bilateral relations.
