Kiran asks Ministers to sail with Jagan
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 Dec 2013 4:12 AM GMTIn response to Union Cabinet approving the draft Telangana bill, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has asked his party Seemandhra leaders to join hands with parties like YSR Congress and TDP which have been opposing the division.
On Friday, CM Kiran held a meeting with 10 ministers and 30 MLAs to discuss on future course of action. Post this meeting minister S Sailajanath revealed, "We have decided to seek the support of YSR Congress and TDP to oppose division. We are ready to work with other political parties for keeping the state united. We are also look into legal issues to stall the bifurcation when it comes to state assembly".
CM Kiran is likely to approach the Supreme Court challenging the Union Cabinet's approval to T-Bill even though majority of the legislators in the state have been opposing it.
