Remove Modi-Shah: Kisan Leaders Writes To RSS Bigwigs

A letter purportedly written by a senior farmers leader from Maharashtra has let cat loose on the BJP pigeons. This letter, addressed to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and sarkaryavah (general secretary) Bhayyaji Joshi, has asked them to replace Modi, who he said was indolent. He wanted Modi to be replaced by Maharashtra leader and union minister Nitin Gadkari. The letter was written in the wake of the BJP's recent defeat in three states.
When asked about it, BJP national president Amit Shah said that there was no reason to replace Modi and said the party would ride back to power under the leadership of Narendra Modi. He said there was no strength or substance in the anti-BJP alliance and that the BJP will win the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. "When we are winning the Lok Sabha elections, where is the question of replacing Narendra Modi," he asked.
It appears there is a serious thought in within the RSS about the ability of Narendra Modi to win the Lok Sabha elections. Till now, both Modi and Shah appeared invincible. But, the election results of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan andChhattisgarh have suddenly made them look vulnerable. One needs to wait for just five more months to know whether Modi-Shah combine will storm back to power or slip into ignominy!!
