Minister of State for Home Affairs Government Kishan Reddy has reacted to the second phase of the lockdown and said that there is a slight chance of the positive cases of COVID-19 to get reduced by the 3rd of May.

Mr. Reddy said that community transmission has not started in India till now and held the Tablighi religious congregation conducted at the Nizamuddin area of Delhi responsible for the COVID-19 cases in India and said that 58% of cases happened due to this.

Kishan Reddy also said that the Centre has allotted Rs 500 crore and Rs 280 crore for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states for providing food and clothes for daily wage laborers.

He found fault with the marriage of former Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil Gowda which has floated the lockdown rules by inviting 100's of guests which were performed by a group of priests.

None of the guests at the marriage were seen wearing medical masks which makes them more vulnerable to the fatal virus. Kishan Reddy said that it is not advisable to perform a marriage at this crucial time of lockdown and added that when people like them break the rules what about the normal people.

He even mentioned him performing the death anniversary of her mother online keeping in mind the rules of the lockdown.
