Know why Pawan wore shoes in Pithapuram?

One thing about Pawan Kalyan appears to be certain. Present day Jana Sena chief is not what he used to be till some time ago. He appears to be quite well prepared for the Varahi yatra. His speeches are measured and his satires are quite loaded. This was in fully visible on Friday when he addressed a large gathering of supporters in Pithapuram.
During his speech, Pawan replied to the YSRCP ministers, who threatened to slap Pawan with their sandals if he criticized YS Jagan. In his reply, Pawan said that the names of those who criticized him were not even worth mentioning. He said that he would not even like to take their names. He however said that if they threaten to slap him with a sandal, he would give back by slapping with both the sandals.
Then, to cool of the audience, he said that he was wearing shoes not sandals. Then he asked the people as to whether they noticed that he was wearing a pant and shirt instead of the trademark white kurta and pyjama. He said someone stole his slippers in Annavaram. Hence, he was wearing shoes. To match shoes with his clothes, he wore a modern pant and shifrt, he said.
The audience roared in laughter and cheered him lustily when he said that some one stole his chappals in Annavaram. The audience responded to his implied meaning that someone from the YSRCP may have stolen his chappals. Pawan addressed a large gathering in Pithapuram on Saturday.
