Two beautiful film actresses, who won on Trinamool Congress ticket as MPs recently, had missed taking oath in Parliament. Why? The both were abroad in the beautiful port city of Bodrum in the far-off Turkey. And what were they doing in Turkey? One of them was marrying and the other beauty was there as her bestie.

Yes. Bengali actress-turned Trinamool MP Nusrat Jahan, who created quite a flutter by taking selfies in front of the Parliament in modern western clothes, missed taking oath as an MP the other day as she had a destination wedding with her long time beau and Kolkata businessman Nikhil Jain in Turkey. The MP and Jain married according to Hindu customs. The wedding was held in the port town of Bodrum. Nusrat was in a relation with Jain for quite some time and firmed up the relation with a wedding in exotic Turkey. Nusrat's fellow first-time MP Mimi Chakravarty too was by her side savouring the most memorable moment of her best friend.

Young MPs - Nusrat and Mimi - posed for selfies outside the Parliament building in modern outfits. This invited lot of criticism especially for the choice of their clothes. However, they brushed aside their criticism and stuck to their guns.
