By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Sep 2016 6:58 AM GMTProfessor Kodandaram isn't sparing any of the flaws of the TRS Government. This time, He faults the manner in which the State Government has been carrying out the delimitation of Districts.
Kodandaram opined KCR is in hurry to complete the whole exercise by Dussehra ignoring the constitution. He questioned, 'Why didn't TRS Government focus on social, economic, people's choice, detailed survey and other aspects for delimitation of Districts? New Districts shouldn't be created for political gains. Justice Fazil Ali Commission recommended creation of new districts as per people's choice. KCR needs to have farsightedness. This situation wouldn't have arised had if a door-to-door survey was conducted'.
The Telangana JAC Chairman opined the Act introduced in 1974 would permit creation of only two new Districts. He accused TRS Government of not taking the opinions of experts, political parties and those who played key role in Telangana movement into confidence while taking key decisions.
