Kodandaram wants to go it alone!!

Remember Prof. Kodandaram? Yes.. we are talking about the former chairperson of the Telangana JAC. Several wrong moves have actually ruined his political career. Once he was the most respected Telangana leader, who could not be ignored even by the all-powerful KCR. But, indecision, lack of political drive and acumen have ensured that he became a non-starter in politics. After the 2018 assembly polls, he is a nowhare man politically.
His party got just eight seats in the seat-sharing with the Congress and the TDP in 2018 elections and lost all. Since then, the party is down in the dumps with no organisational structure and no programmes whatsoever. Kodandaram was last seen in the failed RTC strike, where his role was limited to mere photo opps. Even the Congress, which promoted him till recently, has dropped him and he is on his own these days.
Last heard, Kodandaram is now planning to contest the urban local body polls in Telangana. The party held a meeting after a long time and decided to fight it alone in the municipal elections. Also, the party is now planning to take up an agitational programme demanding total prohibition in Telangana. Kodandaram's party is now looking for candidates to contest the elections.
