TDP Leader spent Rs 11 Crore in 2014 Election

Andhra Pradesh speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao told the importance of money and election expenditure has grown multi-fold when compared to his initial days in politics. 'NTR himself offered Me TDP Ticket. In 1983, I won the election by spending Rs 30,000. In the last election, Rs 11 crore has been spent by Me. For the sake of election expenditure, Few Leaders have been getting involved in corrupt practices,' he revealed.
Kodela claims he is a victim of factionism but not a factionist citing that he escaped bomb attack on four occasions. He proudly says people of his constituency addresses him as 'Palnati Puli' out of affection.
The Speaker opines YCP MLA RK Roja misused the opportunities given to her for conveying an apology and hence the suspension on her continues. He further adds, 'I never aspired to be Speaker. The House has been run by Me in a impartial manner. I'm not a TDP Agent. I have given more opportunities to Opposition than Ruling Party,' he clarifies.
