India lost the first T20 against Australia at the YSR Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. Post the match, A video surfaced online where Skipper Virat Kohli and Pacer Jasprit Bumrah were seen discussing on the field while Vice Captain Rohit Sharma watches them as a mere spectator. It gave an impression that Kohli & Bumrah had ignored Rohit at a crucial phase in the game. Netizens felt the Skipper should have involved Rohit, who is one of the successful T20 Skippers, in the discussion.
On the other hand, There was severe backlash on Pacer Umesh Yadav for failing to concede less than 14 runs in the final over of the T20 Match. Bumrah bowled a brilliant 19th over and took 2 crucial wickets to make it very difficult for the Australians. Much to the disappointment of the Indians, Umesh Yadav who bowled 20th Over conceded 14 runs and helped the visitors gain 1-0 lead in the series.
Still, Jasprit Bumrah came forward to defend his fellow cricketer. He told any cricketer wishes to give their best for the team but it many't yield good results all the time.
