He scored a few half-centuries, but couldn't convert them into centuries. The long end of almost three years is finally over now.

India might have been ruled out of Asia Cup, but we got to see old Virat Kohli. The wait is over and Virat Kohli scored his 71st century. The century he scored against Afghanistan marks his first century in T20. Cricket fans expected Virat Kohli to bag a ton in ODIs or Tests. But Kohli stunned everyone with a century in T20.

The century is very special as Virat Kohli broke many records. First, the Run Machine became the second highest centuries holder in world cricket with 71 centuries. He shares the record with Australia's great Ricky Pointing.

Virat Kohli's 122* off 61 deliveries marks his first century in the short format. King Kohli also broke the record held by Hitman Rohit Sharma, who scored the previous highest score by an Indian batsman in the T20 of 118 runs.

The cricketing world erupted in joy after King Kohi scored a ton. From former crickets to current payers everyone hailed the King. Even the politicians expressed their joy on Virat coming back to form in class. Social media is flooded with congratulatory messages for the former captain of the team.

King Kohli made the best out of his opening batting. He smashed the bowlers out of the park and brought his century after almost three years. He reached the three-figure score in style by a massive six. He changed the gears after scoring a ton. His 122 helped India put a massive score of 212.

In return, India bowled out the Afghan team for just 111 and registered a run with a margin of 101 runs. Virat Kohli's innings consisted of a dozen boundaries and half a dozen maximums.

Virat Kohli showed a positive approach in the match. He was dropped in the match. This costed Afghanistan big time and Virat Kohli brought his 71st century.
