No Political Reasons Involved: Komatireddy On Meeting PM Modi!

Senior Telangana Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has become a sensation in state politics of late. When his brother Raj Gopal Reddy left the party he remained tight-lipped. Despite the party making him the star campaigner, Venkat Reddy distanced himself from the campaigning activities. The MP went to Australia when the election fever was at its peak.
As a result, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy was not involved in the PCC Committees set up by the AICC keeping the next general elections in mind. Amid this, the MP met none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier today.
This meeting started many reports on the reason behind this. As Raj Gopal Reddy is in the Telangana wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party despite losing the Munugode bypolls, many eyeballs were raised. There was an opinion that the Parliamentarian might have met Narendra Modi due to political reasons.
Amid this, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that there is no political reason behind the meeting and he met the Prime Minister to seek help in addressing a few issues. On the occasion, he cleared the airs on the sudden meeting between him and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Saying that there is no political reason behind the meeting, Komatitreddy Venkat Reddy said that he spoke to Narendra Modi on the cleansing of the Musi river as other rivers are being cleaned. As many people are losing their lives due to road accidents, I requested the expansion of the Vijayawada Highway and the extension of MMTS service till Yadadri for easy travel.
My intention was to address the Musi river issue. If it needs to meet the Telangana Chief Minister as well then I will meet him. He made these comments to back his version that no political reasons are involved in his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It has to be mentioned here that earlier Komatireddy Venkat Reddy made some interesting comments by saying that he will not speak about politics and he will talk only one month before the elections on politics and he will announce if he will contest the elections as an MLA or MP.
