Konda Vishweshwar Reddy filed his nomination for contesting from the Chevella Lok Sabha Constituency. He was elected as Chevella MP in 2014 on TRS Ticket. Mr.Reddy shifted loyalties to Congress ahead of the 2018 Assembly Polls. He is now contesting in Lok Sabha Polls on Congress Party ticket.
In the election affidavit, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy declared family-owned assets worth Rs 895 crore. He is the richest politician in Telugu States if this declaration is taken into consideration.
While Konda Vishweshwar Reddy owns movable assets of Rs 223 crore, His Wife & Apollo Hospitals Joint MD K Sangita Reddy owns Rs 613 crore movable assets. Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and Sangita Reddy own immovable assets of Rs 36 crore and Rs 1.81 crore.
In the election affidavit submitted in 2014, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy declared family assets of Rs 528 crore.
On the other hand, AP Minister P Narayana declared assets worth Rs 667 crore in the affidavit submitted while filing nomination for Nellore Assembly Constituency. While AP CM Chandrababu Naidu declared family assets worth Rs 574 crore, YS Jaganmohan Reddy owned assets worth Rs 538 crore.
