Koneru Konappa Proves A Headache For KCR

The TRS Government is worried that the brutal and deadly attack on woman forest official by TRS leader, ZP deputy chairperson and brother of Koneru Konappa, the local MLA, Koneru Krishna Rao could seriously hit the prestige of the party. The Central Government has taken a serious note of the incident and Union Forest and Environment Minister Prakash Jawadekar took a serious view of the issue and made a statement on the floor of Parliament. Also the special secretary, Inter-State Council Secretariat (ISCS), Home Ministry, Sanjeev Gupta, spoke to Telangana DGP M Mahendar Reddy about the case. He also tweeted thus: He directed the police to ensure such incidents donât recur. He took to Twitter to say: "Telangana DGP confirmed to me yesterday, MLA's brother & 15 others have been arrested for attempt to murder. Prompt action by police will bring culprits to book. Shocking, mere plantation by foresters made these goons go berserk!"
The negative publicity due to the attack has unnerved the TRS government. As if this was not enough, an old video of KCR terming MLA Konappa as Veerappan has surfaced and has gone viral. Even the forest officials are raising their voice against the TRS Government for alienating forest land to others. All this has become a headache for KCR. He is now mulling damage control plans and to douse the fires.
