Krish to direct Hindi remake of Chiru's hit
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 April 2013 5:55 PM GMTDirector Krish Jagarlamudi is all set to make foray into the Hindi Film Industry. His maiden project is going to be the Hindi remake of Telugu hit Tagore starring Chiranjeevi and he has teamed up with none other than Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.
Noted director-turned-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be producing this flick which is tentatively titled as 'Gabbar'. Though AR Murugadoss who directed the original (Ramana in Tamil) was earlier considered for the project initially, finally Krish bagged the opportunity.
As Akshay is currently busy with biggies like 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2' and 'Boss', this remake will go to floors only in the second half of 2013.
Krish is very excited about the crazy project and he feels venturing into a new Industry is always challenging. Wish this talented Telugu filmmaker a successful Hindi debut!
