MLA marries IAS Officer

KS Sabarinathan & Divya S Iyer, the first MLA-IAS couple in Kerala, entered wedlock at Kumarakovil temple in Kanyakumari district on Friday.
Sabarinathan is a Congress MLA representing Aruvikkara Constituency. Whereas, Divya S Iyer happens to be Thiruvananthapuram Sub-Collector. Only close relatives and senior Congress Leaders attended the wedding ceremony. A reception was organized at Girideepam Convention Centre on Yesterday evening for high-profile guests. On Sunday, Another reception is planned at VK Auditorium Aryanad in the MLA's Constituency for the sake of his followers and public.
Actually, Sabarinathan is an MBA Graduate and son of former speaker later G Karthikeyan. The 33-Year-Old worked for Tata Trust before entering politics. He won as MLA twice (2015, 2016) from Aruvikkara constituency. Divya S Iyer has done graduation in medicine from CMC Vellore. The 32-Year-Old became an IAS in 2013. The Couple confirmed their relationship last month.
