KTR -Samantha's message to the society!

In our country, since BJP has formed the Government, 7th of August every year, has been declared as the Handlooms day. This year marks the Third Anniversary of Handlooms Day and the arrangements for the celebrations are going on at a rapid pace.
As Telangana Government took this Handloom Industry seriously, Textile Ministry K. Taraka Ramarao as sent letters to all the MPs and MLAs of the state. He requested them to wear Handlooms on the day and also asked them to promote Handlooms in Public meetings as well. As Telangana has a rich history of handloom weavers, this will be a great initiative for encouraging the Handloom industry in Telangana state, said the Minister. He stated all the measures that Telangana Government is taking towards making Handlooms a respectable profession and a great livelihood option for the future generations to save the tradition.
On the other hand, even Handlooms brand ambassador from State, Samantha too is doing all in her power to promote the Handlooms Industry. Samantha is seriously promoting the Industry as much as she can. She released her photo shoot pics by wearing all Handloom clothes and tweeted, "Handloom is the future !! When you wear something made by a person there is something special there #artisansoftelangana #handloomisbold"
