Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao decided to wear hand loom clothes on every Monday to support the hand loom industry. On Monday, KTR & his Staff wore hand loom clothes.
KTR launched #WearHandloom campaign to create encourage people to use such outfits. He is now luring celebrities to support the campaign. 'Me in Handloom in support of weavers. Soon, Kamal Haasan responded, 'I also support handloom weavers. Have grown seeing my father wear nothing but handloom clothes, through his life@KTRTRS.'
In response to KTR's Tweet, Sania Mirza wrote she supports #WearHandloom and wears it soon after return from Australian Open.
When Rana Daggubati tweeted, 'I am!! #WearHandloom', KTR asked him: 'Where's your pic wearing hand loom?'.
