KTR completes one year as TRS working president

Young KTR has completed his one year term as the working president of the ruling TRS. Last year on the same day, (December 17), he was appointed the working president of the party. Soon after the TRS came to power riding a massive wave of support in 2018, Chief Minister KCR appointed KTR as the party's working president. Ever since he became the president, he has been focusing on building the party organisation and making it battle ready.
KTR chucked is software job in the US and joined active politics in 2006 and in 2008, he was appointed general secretary along with 39 others. He had won as an MLA from Sircilla in 2009. 2010, 2014 and now in 2018. He first became a minister in 2014 and managed key ministries like panchayat raj, rural development, municipal administration and IT affairs. He made a mark for himself by working hard and taking key decisions to promote IT. The T Hub, launched by him is a shining example of the work done to promote the IT sector. Schemes like Mission Bhageeratha and Grama Jyothi were praised across the country for the innovative ideas.
But, politically, his biggest achievement is the stupendous victory in the GHMC elections. Under KTR, the party won 99 seats on its own. He has also strategised during the assembly elections in 2018. KTR personally campaigned in 55 assembly seats as part of the electioneering. The party had also won impressively in the panchayat elections and the Huzurabad bypolls. Organisationally, he had ensured that the party reach the 60 lakh target in membership and that the booth and village level committees are formed. The next biggest task for him is to construct party offices in 22 district headquarters.
