KTR lauds Police personnel who served challan against his vehicle

One Ilayya, who is a traffic SI by profession, had caught everyone's attention by stopping the vehicle of Telangana IT Minister KTR as the vehicle was going on a wrong route. The SI and constable Venkateshwar had stopped the vehicle and issued a challan for the vehicle.
IT Minister KTR had congratulated the Traffic SI and constable for doing their work without caring about anything else. The TRS Working President had called them to his office and felicitated them with a shawl.
The two policemen were called to the KTR Minister's office on Monday and the duo was congratulated by the Minister for their dedication to the work. The pictures of the cops receiving flower bouquets from KTR went viral on social media.
Appreciating the cops over the incident, KTR said that rules are equal to normal people and public representatives and everyone should obey the rules. The cops should be congratulated by sticking to their duties, KTR added.
Tracing back the issue, the incident was reported on the 2nd of October on the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi. When KTR's vehicle was going in the wrong route, the SI and Constable had stopped the vehicle and issued a challan for the traffic rule violation.KTR had made it clear that he was not present in the vehicle at the time the challan was issued to the vehicle.
