KTR blames Engineers for bad remark on TRS Govt!

Telangana Municipal Minister K Taraka Rama Rao on Tuesday held a review meeting with GHMC Officials over the roads in Hyderabad city. He opined, All the good name TRS Government has earned so far is getting washed away with the poor maintenance of roads.
When GHMC Engineers tried to give lame excuses, KTR breathed fire on them and asked them to be prepared to face suspension if his orders weren't implemented at the earliest. 'I knew whether Contractors or Officials are responsible for this situation. Those officials who are negligent will be suspended,' he warned.
Some of the decisions taken by KTR during the Today's meetingâ¦
1) Form 150 Team to repair roads on a war footing
2) Focus on quality maintenance in laying of roads
3) All the concerned Government agencies need to focus on maintenance of roads for the next one month
4) Take Short Term measures immediately. Then, Prepare a Medium & Long Term Strategy to resolve the issue.
5) Roads in Metro Rail route should be repaired as early as possible
6) Improving Underground Cabling, Storm Water Drains and White Topping would be the long-term solution
7) Restoration of roads where drinking water pipelines are laid should be completed
