Not Even A Single Paisa For Samantha

Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao disclosed Samantha hasn't charged even a single paisa to be the brand ambassador of handlooms. 'Samantha has voluntarily come forward to promote handloom products made by weavers out of her passion. Telangana Government has readily agreed but she wasn't offered any pay package from the state exchequer,' he clarified.
Ever since Samantha began spreading awareness about handloom products, There is criticism from Opposition Parties in Telangana over the decision to appoint her as brand ambassador. Few Congress Leaders questioned whether if State Government couldn't find any of the Telanganites suitable for the job. There were even rumours that the Top Actress was paid a hefty remuneration to be part of the awareness drive.
Why did KTR took few years to offer this clarification? Better late than never…Isn't it? The kind of respect people have for Samantha grows multifold after the clarification given by the concerned Minister.
