Dr.Reddy's Laboratories Ltd, in association with Cykul Bicycle Company, launched India's largest cycle sharing programme in Hyderabad. The programme meant to promote pollution-free environment is being promoted as Dr.Reddy's Redbike.

Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao inaugurated Dr.Reddy's Redbike programme. When the first time Minister thought of going for a ride, Photo Journalists blocked his way. Then, KTR asked how should he move forward. One of the Journos asked him to use the bell. That's when, KTR replied, 'Meeru Cycle Nu Emi Anakandi…Chandrababu Feel Avutharu'.

Redbike offers 400 specially designed bicycles which will be kept available at 100 stations. Currently, The programme is implemented in the 15 km stretch between Financial District and Gachibowli. People could use these robust cycles for eco-friendly transportation between campuses. They could purchase monthly passes online at RedBike.in or using the mobile App. Currently, Rs 375 per month is being charged from each customer for enjoying the ride from 6 am to 10 pm on week days.
