Even My Mom Lost Land For Kaleshwaram: KTR
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Jun 2019 12:50 PM GMTTRS Government faced criticism over the land acquisition for Kaleshwaram Project. The biggest complaint against CM KCR has been his reluctance to offer the compensation according to the 2013 Land Acquisition Act. Opposition Parties made a hue & cry over Rs 5 lakh per acre offered to the farmers who lost their lands for India's largest lift irrigation project.
Upon inspecting the Malakpet reservoir works in Sircilla District on Monday, TRS Working President KT Rama Rao disclosed that even his Mother had lost piece of land owned by her for the mid-Maneru works of Kaleswaram Project. He proudly claimed 45 lakh acres in Telangana will be receiving abundant water for agriculture because of this project.
KTR told the big dream of KCR to provide water for one crore acres will become a reality soon. He went on to say vision of Telangana CM is gonna resolve the water scarcity and improve the production of electricity in the state.
Himanshu who accompanied his Father during the tour of Sircilla stood as centre of attraction. This Kid makes public appearances whenever TRS achieves something big, Statehood in 2014 & Kaleshwaram in 2019.
