KTR traces the IT Boom in Telangana with a wonderful video
By: Tupaki Desk | 4 Oct 2021 8:02 AM GMTTelangana was carved out of the combined Andhra Pradesh in 2014 after an intense agitation from the leaders and youth. When the state was bifurcated, there were a few doubts on whether the 29th state, Telangana can overcome the issues. But the state had made wonders in terms of growth and developments since 2014.
The state saw the IT sector blossoming over the years as the IT experts, direct employment, State Gross domestic product, and Per Capita income increased year by year. The state also contributes to the DGP of the country. The investments in the state since 2014 are worth 23 billion dollars.
Telangana IT Minister KTR, known as Tech-Savvy Minister, had shared a video on his Twitter handle that traces the journey of Telangana from the youngest state in the country to one of the contributors to the country's GDP.
In the six-minute-long video, the journey was beautifully mentioned. The video starts with the successful growth of the state and then goes with how the agitation of the state was started that had impacted various industries.
The video also has the mentions how IT Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao had addressed the first IT enclave of the state post the bifurcation and how Tech giants have entered the state with investments resulting in the massive jump in IT exports.
The video ends with KTR addressing the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Policy, 2021 on the 16th of September where he had mentioned how the state overcame the difficulties and has been going through a path of growth over the years.
'So fulfilling to see how far #Telangana IT sector has come since the formation of the State in 2014. Telangana Promises...Telangana Delivers! Feel fortunate to be part of this exciting journey,' KTR had tweeted sharing the video on his official handle.
The agitation movement that started back in 1969 had gained the required momentum since 2010. The protests and agitation reached a peak in 2010. Following the series of protests and sacrifices of Telangana supporters and students, the then Union Government Congress had passed the bill paving way for the 29th state in the country.
