KTR's Mature Take On Bengaluru Flood Situation!
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Sep 2022 7:06 AM GMTIndia as a nation is growing bigger and bigger. Recently, it was said that India overtook the United Kingdom to become the fifth largest economy in the world. Not just that Indians are also buying more assets and properties there and they own more properties than the locals.
This is one side of the story. The second side is that India has a lot more to do in developing the infrastructure. The major cities are unable to deal with small rain and whenever it rains the cities see water-logging and big traffic jams on roads.
Irrespective of the cities, the same is the case. Now it's the turn of Silicon valley Bengaluru to go through a tough time. After suffering a massive train, the Karnataka capital city found itself in the middle of a small size flood. The roads were filled with water and a few vehicles were washed away.
The flood situation in Bengaluru has brought the old discussion on Hyderabad vs Bengaluru once again. Netizens started drawing a comparison between the two cities on how they dealt with the floods. The flood situation made the Karnataka capital city a target of many.
Amid this, Telangana IT Minister KTR reacted to the flood situation. Standing in support of Bengaluru, KTR opined that the infrastructure would crumble due to the rapid urbanisation & sub-urbanisation as enough capital was not infused into developing the infrastructure.
Showing his maturity, KTR reminded how a few Karnataka leaders target and mocked Hyderabad during the flood situation and said he is not going to do the same and we should learn from the experiences of others to grow as a nation.
Earlier the Telangana and Karnataka leaders locked horns with each other on the topic of which city is better and which city has the better facilities. Big leaders openly targeted the other cities.
After the fight lasted for a few days, Telangana IT Minister KTR put an end to the discussion. Stopping all this, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi working President KTR said he has no intention of fighting with Bengaluru and he wants healthy competition between Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Showing the same maturity, KTR said those who are mocking Bengaluru should know about the infrastructure.
