Karnataka Pre-Poll Campaigns Show Signs Of A Swing
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 April 2018 6:10 AM GMTKarnataka has become an interesting state for political experts and enthusiasts. Everyone is trying to crack what is Karnataka voter's pulse by looking at everything and every party campaign closely.
Janatha Dal (S), Deva Gowda, ex-Prime Minister of India's regional party has been reduced to a literal B-team to two National parties, Congress and BJP in the state.
Once upon a time, JDS became a so strong that it could challenge Congress at a National level. But now, at state level they need to win this election to keep themselves in the equations of third front and to find an important position in next Central Government too.
In Tumakuru District, the recent JDS and Rahul Gandhi's public meetings as part of election campaign, gave an idea of how voters are thinking this time around.
As many people have attended Rahul Gandhi's meeting, if not more, equal number of people have come to JDS Kumaraswamy meeting without any huge leaders.
Kumaraswamy is able to draw huge crowds and the experts of saying, Vakkaliga caste votes can bring down Congress in this election and give an advantage to BJP, regionally and at National level too.
Kumaraswamy about this said, "We don't want to be a B-team to any party. We want to fight this election on our own and end the bad rule if the two big National parties. We have that strength and power to do so."
The political experts are suggesting the incumbent Siddharammaiah and his Congress party political leaders to not talk anything opposite Gowdas at this point of time.
