At the Medchal Public Meeting, Telangana TDP President L Ramana claimed he is addressing the gathering from the platform given by the Congress Party for the first time in his 40 years of political career. 'I was invited by TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy for Sonia's public meeting,' he revealed.
L Ramana slammed KCR for ignoring the key promise - 'Dalit CM if TRS forms government'. He alleged justice wasn't done to the families of Telangana Martyrs in TRS Rule. 'On the day KCR dissolved the Assembly, I proposed the idea of Mahakutami with Kodandaram and CPI. Appealed them to join hands with Congress in the best interest of Telanganites. I was the first person to bring this proposal. I have now come before you with the confidence given to Me by Chandrababu Naidu. Under KCR rule, A rich state like Telangana has got debt-ridden. We felt Congress should be in the forefront for doing justice to the people. Voters should bless Mahakutami. Thankful to Sonia Gandhi,' says the TDP Chief.
