Police Station Closed After A Lady Inspector Tests COVID Positive

The novel coronavirus is getting deeper and deeper in India with the virus is getting infected to one profession to another. Earlier the doctors and media professionals were infected with the virus.
Now the dreaded virus has hit the police department as a lady police inspector who works at the Vaniyambadi police station of Tamil Nadu tested positive for the virus which adds fuel to the speculations of the community transmission of the virus.
"The Vaniyambadi police inspector was part of a group of personnel tested for the virus as they are in the frontline in the fight against the pandemic. The results were received on Thursday and she tested positive," Deputy Director of Health Services KST Suresh said.
It is believed that all her family members were tested for the virus and send to quarantine centers accordingly. While the reports of the COVID-19 tests are awaited.
As the inspector was tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, the Vaniyambadi taluk police station was closed and all the cops working at the taluk station were quarantined at a nearby marriage hall.
