Lagadapati Rajagopal makes public appearance after nearly two years

Industrialist and former Congress leader Lagadapati Rajagopal, who is famous for his exit poll predictions made a public appearance after a long gap. The former Lok Sabha appeared in temple city Vijayawada today.
Lagadapati Rajagopal cast his vote in Vijayawada Municipal elections today. After exercising his right, the former MP spoke to the media. He spoke about various issues in Andhra Pradesh.
When asked about YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's ruling in Andhra Pradesh, Rajagopal said, it will be known only after three years. I know him(YS Jagan) before he was active in politics, he said.
Talking about Actor-turned-politician, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, he showered praise on Pawan for being in the public, despite losing the 2019 general elections and said only a few leaders will be able to do that.
Taking a question on politics, he said he just sees politics as a normal person. The former Congress MP spoke about the late YSR's ruling and reminded how development and welfare went hand in hand during the leader's regime.
Lagadapati Rajagopal has also responded to Subramanian Swamy's comments on TTD to make it free from the government. He opined that no one questions TTD as it is being run by the government. If it goes into private hands, everyone questions it. The Courts will take the right decision. Only the temples from northern states work independently. I am not in the position to say what is right and what is wrong, he said.
Lagadapati Rajagopal failed miserably to predict the election result of the Telangana Assembly election results and the General elections in Andhra Pradesh in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Since then, he has been staying out of politics.
