Lagadapati Rajagopal participated in a programme held at Konapuram in Penkonda Mandal of Anantapur District.
While speaking to media persons, The Former MP opined Special Category Status can't be achieved with suicides but only by an intense movement. 'Special Category Status will bring Industries to AP and create employment opportunities. People of AP firmly believe progress is possible only with it. Andhrites taught a lesson to Congress just for division of United AP. BJP would be in similar situation if it doesn't accord Special Status,' he maintained.
When quizzed about his prediction for 2019 Elections, Lagadapati informed he would disclose the survey results only before the polls.
Lagadapati reiterates he hasn't changed his decision to stay away politics. Which indicates, Speculations of his reentry into politics through TDP have been proven wrong.
