One More Suicide for AP Special Status!

There is a hint of new movement demanding Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh in view of no official announcement from the Centre after the recent meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi & AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Lakshmaiah, a native of Vedayapalem in Nellore district, commited suicide in the early hours of Thursday. He left a suicide note demanding Special Status to AP.
Activists of Pratyeka Hodha Sadhana Samithi on Thursday staged protest before BJP Office in Visakhapatnam demanding implementation of all the provisions of AP Reorganisation Act 2014. They expressed the view there will be no use of Special Package and Special Status is achievable if Andhrites join the movement.
The situation is no different in Vijayawada! Mala Mahanadu Activists protested before BJP Office raising slogans that they are willing to sacrifice their lives for Special Status. "BJP remained blind-folded when Congress divided the state in an undemocratic manner. After coming to power with promises of Special Status & Special Package, It is betraying the people with lame excuses. Special Status is AP's right, we are ready to fight for it," declares Mala Mahanadu.
