Lakshmi Parvathi in a tight spot over health varsity renaming

The YSRCP government's sudden decision to rename NTR health university as YSR health university has kicked up a major political storm in Andhra Pradesh. The TDP has made this a major issue now. It is forced to even push the Amaravati issue to the background. The TDP is now made to take this issue and go to the streets.
However, the YSRCP government's decision has proved to be a real challenge for Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi. She is now the chairperson of the Telugu Sanskrit Academy. She is a diehard YSRCP supporter and has been nominated to the post by Jagan himself. But, as NTR's second wife, she has to react to the renaming controversy.
But, Lakshmi Parvathi has not spoken so far on the issue. While another diehard NTR supporter Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad has resigned from the post of the chairperson of the Official Language Commission in protest against the renaming, Lakshmi Parvathi has not resigned. This has become a huge talking point in Andhra Pradesh.
Sources say that the whole controversy has put Lakshmi Parvathi in a tight spot. She can neither stay in the post as it involves her husband's prestige. Nor can she leave the post as it would deeply anger YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. As of now, she has kept mum and has not reacted to the controversy. Let's wait and watch what she will do in the days to come.
