A day after the announcement about 'Lakshmi's Veeragrandham', Lakshmi Parvathi staged Mouna Deeksha at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad. Upon remaining silent for sometime, She spoke to media persons: 'Though few intend to insult Me, I won't get affected. I faced much bigger challenges in my life. I am the wife of NT Rama Rao. My fight is for justice…people should know the truth'.
Lakshmi Parvathi termed the attempts to make 'Lakshmi's Veeragrandham' without her prior consent as something very unacceptable and illegal. She threatened to move the court if the project goes on floors against her wish with the hidden agenda to tarnish her image.
Yesterday, Kethireddy Jagadeswar Reddy announced 'Lakshmi's Veeragrandham' in which he wishes to showcase the life of Lakshmi Parvathi before marrying NTR. This include her first marriage with Veeragandham Subbarao & reasons behind their separation.
Apart from seeking an open debate, Jagadeswar Reddy questioned, 'Why Lakshmi Parvathi is against my project when she have no objection with biopics made by Balayya & RGV?'.
