Lalu Gets To See TV & Newspaper In Jail

Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav has been lodged in Birsa Munda jail in Ranchi after his conviction in the Fodder Scam case. The RJD Chief had undergone a heart surgery in 2014 and he has to maintain a particular diet.
As of now, Lalu Prasad Yadav was served only jail food. He might seek home-cooked food in the days to come.
Lalu have access to TV and Newspaper in the prison. He will be allowed to meet guests from 8 am to 12 noon during Weekends.
About 16 Accused including Lalu Prasad Yadav were convicted by the Special CBI Court for fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 89 lakh from the Deoghar Treasury between 1991 and 1994. The quantum of punishment will be pronounced on January 3rd, 2018.
As of now, Lalu Prasad Yadav was served only jail food. He might seek home-cooked food in the days to come.
