By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Aug 2013 10:54 AM GMTOur politicians were always a step ahead when it comes to taking advantage of the situation for making money. Since three months, Several political leaders including Union ministers, PCC Chief and MLAs have began acquiring lands in Ongole which is likely to be the capital of the new Andhra Pradesh state.
Seemandhra leaders were informed much in advance about the division of the state by the Centre. A pro-TDP news daily created a sensation by publishing that Ongole is going to be the new capital of the region. Few of the leaders have acquired as many lands as possible in the past few months in Ongole. A Minister from Guntur, an MP from Vijayawada, an MLA from Prakasam and a Channel Owner were among them.
There is a strong buzz that Congress leaders haven't been stressing much on keeping the state united, instead they are demanding special package and sharing of issues like water, power and others.
