Life Time Imprisonment For Constable In Aurobindo Vice-chairman Kidnap Attempt

Nampally court today delivered its judgment in the Aurobindo pharmacy Vice- Chairman Nityananda Reddy kidnap case. Few montsh back an AK-47 rifle wielding man tried to abduct Aurobindo Pharma's Director K Nityananda Reddy from his car near KBR park and opened fire against him. The unidentified attacker sat in Reddy's car and then threatened him with an AK-47 rifle.
The gunman fled the scene after Reddy opened fire with his licensed revolver, in order to protect himself. Reddy was not injured, but the bullets shattered the windows. The incident was happened in November 14 last year and it spread panic in the area. The attacker fled leaving behind his weapon. Police who probed the case found that the gun belonged to the Grey-hound constable Obulesu.
Today the court gave the hearing on the case. Obulesu has admitted to the crime and a life imprisonment was imposed on him by the court.
